Lesson Leech

Live lesson notes for IB Diploma students.

Lesson Leech is a study app that runs on a student's Mac during a lesson. While the teacher explains, it:

• writes down each main point as the teacher makes it;
• answers the questions the teacher asks the class, in about a second;
• keeps running notes of the lesson, written with the IB exam in mind.

After the lesson it writes a revision summary and exam-style flashcards, and at the end of the day a short review of everything covered, so students know what to go over tonight.

Built for the IB Diploma

It covers subjects in all six groups: English A and English B, other language courses, Economics, Business Management, History, Psychology, Geography, the sciences, Mathematics (AA and AI) and the arts, plus Theory of Knowledge. The notes use the IB's command terms, and for most subjects the way the exam asks its questions.

Respect for the classroom

• Students ask their teacher before using it in a lesson.
• The recording never leaves the student's laptop: speech-to-text runs on the Mac itself.
• Only the words of the lesson are sent to Lesson Leech to write the notes. Nothing is sold or used for advertising. See the Privacy Policy.

Lesson Leech uses only these two addresses, over HTTPS (port 443):

• lessonleech.com
• api.lessonleech.com

It sends lesson text (never audio) and receives notes. If your network filters or inspects web traffic, please allow these two addresses so students can use it on the school Wi-Fi.
